OBITUARY

Barbara “Buss” M .Hermann, 70 of Fredericktown, PA passed away Monday, May 11, 2015 in her home surrounded by her family.
She was born April 12, 1945 in Amwell Township a daughter of the late Charles J. and Evelyn Marie VanVoorhis Mowl, Sr.
A homemaker, Mrs. Hermann was previously employed by Quasitronics, Canonsburg, PA; Flushing Shirt Factory, Jefferson, PA, Greene Cove Yacht Club and her favorite place to work was the G. C. Murphy Co., Washington, PA. 
She was a member of the Fredericktown United Methodist Church. 
Buss, as she was referred to by her family and close friends, enjoyed trout fishing, and cooking. She was very talented in painting rocks and stones to resemble animals. Using a dremel tool, she created birds out of tree roots. Time spent with her family and especially her grandchildren was very important and enjoyable to her. 
On August 15, 1964 she married Herbert W. “Herb” Hermann of Fredericktown, PA who survives. They celebrated 50 years of marriage.
Surviving in addition to her husband is a son, Scott A. Hermann (Brenda) of Washington, PA; four grandchildren, Derek, Andrew, Chelsey and Sierra Hermann; one great granddaughter, Danielle Hermann; one sister, Donna (Punkin) Mowl of Beallsville, PA and several nieces and nephews. 
Deceased in addition to her parents is a son, Daniel W. Hermann who died January 23, 1993; a daughter Marie Elana Hermann, who died in infancy; two sisters, Saundra Sienkiel and Mary Rhodes; one brother, Charles J. Mowl, Jr.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing or visitation. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Hanson-Cole American Legion Post #391, P.O. Box 517, Fredericktown, PA 15333.
